Desert2surf initiative is an initiative conceived in 2007. Its aim is to provide indigenous children in remote communities with the opportunity to travel away from their home to engage in a range of targeted cultural and outdoor experiences normally unavailable to them.

They came to us with a lot of passion, some great photos, and much enthusiasm, but not quite sure how they wanted this conveyed through the website. We wanted to build something which was aesthetically pleasing, simple, and reflective of the great work this initiative provides to the community.

Fuction wise, D2S is simple, clean ad tidy. Built using CSS and HTML, we were able to maintain the website as something which was easy to maintain, had an easy user experience, and had room for expansion down the track.
